GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BRAVE KID GIFT CARD  

The Brave Kid gift card (hereinafter referred to as the "Gift Card") is a virtual card that can be purchased solely online at bravekid.com, enabling the purchase of products promoted by Brave Kid Srl. The Gift Card is not nominative, therefore it can be gifted or transferred to third parties other than the buyer and redeemed by anyone in possession of the code provided at the time of its activation. 

The Gift Card is a payment method. It cannot be considered as a financial instrument. 

The sale of the Gift Card is exempt from VAT as per Art. 2, para. 3 letter a) of Presidential Decree 633/1972. 

When purchasing or using the Gift Card, the following "Gift Card Terms and Conditions" are deemed to be acknowledged and accepted. 

USAGE 

 

Brave Kid Gift Cards bought via the internet can only be redeemed at bravekid.com. 

To redeem the Gift Card on bravekid.com, follow these steps: 

  1. At check-out, insert the Gift Card code given upon activation in the discount code box;
  2. Click on "APPLY". 
  3. The full value of your order will be subtracted from your Gift Card balance.

If the Gift Card balance is insufficient to cover the total order cost, you may use one of the available payment methods to pay the balance. 

Gift Cards: 

  • Are only valid for purchases on bravekid.com within the country of purchase. The digital gift card's value is established in euros and then converted to the local currency selected during the check-out (if it differs from Euro), based on the exchange rate applicable at the time of the purchase of the products using the gift card. 
  • cannot be used to purchase other gift cards and 
  • cannot be reloaded. Once you have no credit left on the Gift Card, a new one must be purchased. 
  • The Gift Card can be used for multiple purchases until no credit is left. Note that multiple Gift Cards cannot be used in a single order. 
  • are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. 
  • Kindly be aware that the Gift Card does not entitle you to change or reimbursement, please refer to the FAQ section for further clarification. 

ACTIVATION AND AVAILABLE BALANCE 

The Gift Card will be dispatched via email. Upon receipt of the email, the Gift Card is activated and ready to use. Please be sure to save the email which contains all the Gift Card information for your use and in case you’ll need to share Gift Card details with Brave Kid customer service, if necessary. 

The Gift Card is available for purchase in the following credit cuts: 

 

  • 50 EUR 
  • 100 EUR 
  • 150 EUR 
  • 200 EUR 
  • 300 EUR 

 

It is not possible to top up a Gift Card that has already been activated. However, you can purchase a new Gift Card at any time. 

At the end of each purchase, a summary of any remaining credit on the Gift Card will be provided. You can verify your Gift Card balance by clicking on the hyperlink contained in the email through which you received the Gift Card.  

Additionally, you may consult Brave Kid's customer service to acknowledge the remaining balance on your Gift Card. 

DURATION 

Brave Kid Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of issue, unless the balance is used up before the expiry date. After expiration, the Brave Kid Gift Card will no longer be accepted as a mean of payment and any remaining credit will not be refunded. 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL 

 

After purchasing the Gift Card, you have the right to withdraw without penalty within 14 days from the date of Gift Card activation (corresponding to the date of receipt of the Gift Card activation email).  

To activate the withdrawal process, contact Brave Kid customer service or send a communication to the following contacts: 

REFUNDS FOR PURCHASES MADE WITH GIFT CARDS 

If you return a product bought with a Gift Card, the refund will be added back to the same Gift Card used for purchasing the product, for an amount equal to the return. 

If you return a product bought with a Gift Card and another payment method, the refund will first be credited to the Gift Card for the amount paid with the latter. The outstanding balance will then be refunded using the second payment method. 

LIABILITY AND LOSS 

From the date of delivery and activation, it is your responsibility to use the Gift Card correctly. Please be cautious not to share the Gift Card with unauthorized parties and to keep secured the codes required for its use . Brave Kid shall not be liable for any illegal use of the Gift Card or for any use not in compliance with these Gift Card Terms and Conditions, or in the event of loss, theft, or incorrect use of the codes associated with the Gift Cards issued. 

Brave Kid will not be responsible for any delay or failure in receiving or activating the Gift Card due to force majeure or any other circumstances outside Brave Kid’s control, including, but not limited to, internet or network connection problems or incorrect data provided by the user during the Gift Card purchase. 

If the code provided during activation of the Gift Card is lost or stolen, the Gift Card cannot be replaced. It will not be possible to transfer credit from a lost or stolen Gift Card to another card, nor to receive a refund for the residual credit on the lost or stolen card. 

REVOCATION 

Brave Kid retains the right to reject, void or halt the redemption of the Gift Card and associated orders, if there is reasonable suspicion of illicit activity, like suspected fraud, or if are detected mistakes in either the issuance or use of the Gift Card, such as Gift Cards issued with incorrect names. This also applies to any violations of the Gift Card Terms and Conditions or other applicable policies posted on bravekid.com, if any.
